Tenant Qualifications

Tenants must meet the following qualifications in order to rent from Anchorage Point.  No exceptions.

1. Income Qualification
Tenants weekly income must meet or exceed twice the weekly rent.  For example if your weekly rent is $159.99, your weekly gross income must be twice that amount, or $319.98 per week.  The following chart is an example only as apartment prices vary.

Here is an example of what your minimum income should be per hours worked each week.

*This table is used solely as an example of how to break down your income and does not represent exact figures.  Tax is not included in this example, but will be added to weekly rents total to determine minimum income required.
Note: The minimum hourly rate for a studio apartment should be at least $8.00 when tax is included.

2. Criminal History
Your criminal record must have no more than one felony, no aggravated assaults, no theft/robbery, no drug manufacturing or trafficking, and no sex or violent crimes.

3. Occupancy Limits
A maximum of 2 permanent residents allowed per studio,  2 permanent residents per one bedroom and 4 permanent residents per two bedroom.

4. Senior citizens
Age 60 and over may reduce these income requirements by 33%.  Example: a senior would only have to prove income of $173 per week to rent a $129.99 studio.
